Canon Pro90 samples
I have created this
page to show a few examples of the picture quality of my new Pro90. These
aren't meant to be artistic -- only to show what the camera can do. You
can click on any thumbnail to see at 1024x768 version of the picture. These
pics have not been altered in any way other than resizing.
This is my daughter -- the linked image when
you click on this one is 800x600 rather than 1024x768.

This is my neighbor's gas meter at full zoom
taken from my garage

This is the same as above but at full wide

This is the meter at full tele plus 2x digital
zoom. Surprisingly, the digital zoom at 2x is actually useful, as the picture
quality is pretty good.

This is a power transformer that is across
the street and one house down from mine. It is about 30 feet up on the
pole. This shot is at full zoom. You can see chromatic abberations where
the wires are in front of the bright white sky.
This is the same shot at full tele + 2x digital
zoom. Again, the picture quality is quite good for a digital zoom.
Found this stuff behind a neighbor's house.
This was at 57mm zoom (301.5mm equivalent.)
